Terms of Service

Proposed business-to-business TradeLife terms. Final paid terms will be presented and accepted before paid activation.

Pre-launch review copy — not yet the paid subscription contract

01

Important pre-launch status

TradeLife is in controlled pre-launch completion. This document is published for transparency and review. It does not activate a paid subscription or 14-day trial.

Before paid activation, the final approved version, selected plan, price, billing period, renewal, cancellation route and any trial terms will be shown clearly and acceptance will be recorded.

02

Business use and the service

TradeLife is designed for businesses, sole traders and organisations acting mainly for purposes connected with their trade, business, craft or profession. Features may include customers, quoting, proposals, jobs, schedules, documents, invoicing, financial analysis, assistants and optional connected services. Availability depends on the current release, plan, role, setup and provider status.

03

Customer responsibilities

  • Provide accurate account and business information and keep access details secure.
  • Use TradeLife lawfully and only for legitimate business purposes.
  • Have a lawful basis and any required notices or permissions for personal information entered into TradeLife.
  • Review quotes, proposals, invoices, tax treatments, calculations, classifications and AI-assisted content before relying on or sending them.
  • Keep source records and obtain professional advice where appropriate. TradeLife is not an accountant, tax adviser, solicitor, bank or insurer.

04

Connected services

Optional connections may depend on separate providers, provider approval, configuration and user authorisation. A feature is not represented as available merely because integration code exists.

05

Customer data, security and availability

The subscribing organisation retains its rights in information it supplies. TradeLife may process it as needed to provide, secure and support the service, follow lawful customer instructions and meet legal duties. Where TradeLife acts as processor, the approved Data Processing Agreement will apply.

No online service can promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Planned maintenance, urgent security action, internet failures and provider outages may affect access.

06

AI, accounting and financial limitations

TradeLife can organise evidence and explain business information, but it does not replace professional accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. Automated and AI-assisted outputs can be incomplete or wrong. Unknown financial information should remain visibly unknown rather than silently becoming £0.

07

Final contractual clauses

Final suspension, cancellation, export, termination, refund, liability and governing-law clauses remain subject to director approval and independent UK legal review before paid launch. Nothing in the final agreement may exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
