Why TradeLife exists
A full diary can still hide a weak business.
TradeLife began from first-hand experience of the problem: plenty of work, money moving through the bank, jobs being completed—and still no simple answer to whether the business was genuinely healthy or what should change next.

Product principles
01
Work and money belong together
Quotes, jobs, costs, cash and customer decisions affect one another. TradeLife is designed to keep those relationships visible rather than splitting them into unrelated screens.
02
Unknown is better than a fake zero
If TradeLife does not have reliable evidence, the product should say so. Missing information must not quietly become certainty just because a dashboard needs a number.
03
The owner needs the next decision, not another report
TradeLife is built to explain what a position means, what is driving it and what deserves attention next—while keeping the underlying evidence available for review.
04
Automation needs permission and evidence
AI and workflow automation can reduce admin, but consequential customer, financial and operational actions still need the right evidence, permissions and approval path.
What TradeLife is
An operating system for a trade business.
TradeLife connects the commercial journey from pricing and proposals through jobs, customer decisions, costs, invoicing and financial evidence. The aim is not to replace every specialist system. It is to make the information those systems hold useful in the context of the work being run.
That is why TradeLife can use accounting and bank evidence when supported connections are available, while still treating the underlying accounting system as the accounting record and the bank as cash evidence.
It is also why Tradie and other AI-assisted features are expected to explain uncertainty rather than invent it away.
See the product through its actual capabilities.
The feature pages explain what each major capability does, what evidence it can use and where TradeLife deliberately stops short of claiming certainty.
